Hinchcliffe team,

We cannot thank you enough for an amazing wedding day.

From the first mouth full of food we ate in your restaurant we knew that we would be using your outside catering for our wedding in May.

All of the contact with Lauren was smooth and we knew where we were at. All questions got answered and we were never left guessing.

We booked Hinchcliffe's to do our 3 course wedding breakfast and cold buffet for the evening. The prices were very reasonable for the quality of food. Due to the venue having a very small kitchen we made some small changes to the menu, but we personally thing these changes were very good. We also added on that we needed staff and crockery. All the staff were amazing and went above and beyond multiple times from helping the bar out handing out drinks when the bar were swamped and when any of our guests had questions they were answered really quickly, one guest even got a 2nd plate with leftover Yorkshire puddings and gravy!

The food was amazing, we have had nothing but compliments from any guests that we have spoken to since our wedding, lots of people are going to take a trip up to the farm shop because they want more of the porkpies!

I really would recommend Hinchcliffe's to anyone doing a party/wedding or anything that needs external catering, we will definitely be using them again for anything where we need some food.

Hinchcliffe's outside catering business provided us with a spectacular spread for a family event at home. Lauren made the whole process very stress-free with her excellent communication skills in the run up to the event; and her helpful, positive attitude on the day itself. The food was fresh and delicious and it was good value for money. The help we had with serving food and drinks, and clearing up was invaluable. We are very grateful to the Hinchcliffe catering team and would highly recommend them.

From our first meeting with Lauren, we were sure that we wanted Hinchliffe's to do the catering for our family event. Lauren was full of ideas and quickly tuned in to the style of buffet we needed. She was not thrown by the range of diets or ages to be catered for and made lots of helpful suggestions. She was full of good ideas and we left feeling we were in really safe hands and that everything would be great on the day. This turned out to be the case. Every last little detail had been thought about and the buffet was beautifully presented. Thanks to Hinchliffe's farmers, butchers and bakers, the spread not only looked good but was of the highest quality. Our ninety guests were very complimentary and really enjoyed their food, coming back for seconds. The offering was extremely generous and the remaining food was portioned out into dishes for folk to take home, an opportunity guests were quick to take advantage of!

Lauren and her helper Anya were calm, cheery and unflustered on the day. Everything went to time. They cleared away beautifully and offered to stay and help us if we needed them to, when their duties were finished.

We were really pleased by every aspect of the service provided to us and we would highly recommend them. Should we organise another event in the future, we will certainly choose Hinchliffe's again.’

"Just over a year ago I proposed to my now wife and while we were still looking for inspiration for our wedding we happened to drop into Hinchliffe's for a bite to eat one Sunday afternoon. We had already looked at several wedding venues by this time, but we were both struck by the possibilities that Hinchliffe’s might be able to offer. Hinchliffe’s do not bill themselves as a wedding venue, indeed our wedding was a first for them on their premises, but their restaurant had everything we needed – amazing views, great ambiance, top quality service and amazing food. The wedding was 7 weeks ago and I can honestly say that Hinchliffe’s did an amazing job for us. They could not have done more to ensure us and our 70+ guests were happy.

"We choose the food before the big day and decided upon a Cray fish cocktail for starters followed by a trio of Hinchliffe’s sausages served with mash potatoes. We went for 3 different flavours of sausage to ensure there would be something for everyone. Hinchliffe’s are well used to putting on large scale outside catering so it was no surprise when everything was cooked to perfection. After the meal our guests did not stop raving about the quality of the food and we are still getting people telling us just how great the food was even now.

We moved to Netherton in December 2007, having lived in the South East for 15 years.  Within a couple of days of moving in we discovered the farm shop and tea rooms' and as far as I am concerned the welcome that I got when I went in with our then 4 and not quite 2 year olds calmed my feelings of panic at moving somewhere strange so close to Christmas.  The coffee, the cakes, the attention to the children and the warmness of the staff meant that we were sure to return......

In fact until July last year we regularly went to Hinchliffes, either for a fantastic Yorkshire Breakfast on a Sunday, coffee/tea/babyccinos and cake (including the best current tea cakes and home made jam) or lunch out with family and friends (the meat and fish, the freshest around..) 

When we decided to hold a party to celebrate both our 40th birthdays and our 10th wedding anniversary there was no question who we wanted to host it.  The party took place on 26th February 2011, but we booked it back in May 2010 .....deciding upon a Sop Supper for about 80 people.

When the devastating news about the fire came, it didn't take us long to decide that we wanted Hinchliffes, come what may, to cater for our do and even looked briefly at another venue where the team could bring their brilliant food.

In the event, the all new (admittedly temporary) building was fully functioning in time for 26th February and we (and our guests) enjoyed a truly memorable evening......the Hinchliffes welcome never having been extinguished and the food as always, second to none.  All of our guests commented upon the amazing Sop Supper (including the vegetarians who all loved the special risotto).........the hand cut chunky chips were also an absolute hit.

Our attendance at Hinchliffes still remains frequent.......having such a great restaurant/tea room/party venue on our doorstep and in our community is fantastic!!

We hired the catering staff from Hinchliffe farm in October 2009 for my mother's 40th birthday, we decided to have it at home to make it a more welcoming and friendly occasion, and what better to have after a few drinks but pie and peas!

From the moment we contacted the farm they were extremely helpful, offering us several different options for a night, in the end we decided upon pie and peas with a vegetarian option of a flan.

On the evening of the party, the chef and his team turned up and the only involvement we had was to show them where to put their equipment. After this moment everything was done for us, even to the point of cleaning up plates and utensils, not only that but we received a complimentary Victoria sponge cake which we tried to hide until all the guests had gone home!!! It was a great experience, all of our friends and relatives polished the lot off and were extremely impressed by the food.

I would definately, and have since, recommended this team to other people.
