Hinchliffe's offers a comprehensive catering service for any kind of occasion, whether it's a celebration with friends and family or a business event.
When you've a crowd to feed, we can cater for anything from an informal buffet to a gourmet banquet. What's more, we can serve it either here at Hinchliffe's Restaurant, in your own home, or at any other venue of your choice. We take care of everything so you can simply relax and enjoy the occasion.
Whatever you choose, our mouth-watering menus are always created using the finest possible ingredients from our own farm and selected local suppliers.
So whether you need a birthday or anniversary meal, a christening or funeral tea, a wedding breakfast or a gourmet experience to wow your clients, we can provide it. Everything is tailored to your individual requirements. Our pie and pea or ‘sop' suppers are particularly popular!

We moved to Netherton in December 2007, having lived in the South East for 15 years. Within a couple of days of moving in we discovered ‘the farm shop and tea rooms' and as far as I am concerned the welcome that I got when I went in with our then 4 and not quite 2 year olds calmed my feelings of panic at moving somewhere strange so close to Christmas. The coffee, the cakes, the attention to the children and the warmness of the staff meant that we were sure to return......
In fact until July last year we regularly went to Hinchliffes, either for a fantastic Yorkshire Breakfast on a Sunday, coffee/tea/babyccinos and cake (including the best current tea cakes and home made jam) or lunch out with family and friends (the meat and fish, the freshest around..)
When we decided to hold a party to celebrate both our 40th birthdays and our 10th wedding anniversary there was no question who we wanted to host it. The party took place on 26th February 2011, but we booked it back in May 2010 .....deciding upon a Sop Supper for about 80 people.
When the devastating news about the fire came, it didn't take us long to decide that we wanted Hinchliffes, come what may, to cater for our do and even looked briefly at another venue where the team could bring their brilliant food.
In the event, the all new (admittedly temporary) building was fully functioning in time for 26th February and we (and our guests) enjoyed a truly memorable evening......the Hinchliffes welcome never having been extinguished and the food as always, second to none. All of our guests commented upon the amazing Sop Supper (including the vegetarians who all loved the special risotto).........the hand cut chunky chips were also an absolute hit.
Our attendance at Hinchliffes still remains frequent.......having such a great restaurant/tea room/party venue on our doorstep and in our community is fantastic!!

We hired the catering staff from Hinchliffe farm in October 2009 for my mother’s 40th birthday, we decided to have it at home to make it a more welcoming and friendly occasion, and what better to have after a few drinks but pie and peas!
From the moment we contacted the farm they were extremely helpful, offering us several different options for a night, in the end we decided upon pie and peas with a vegetarian option of a flan.
On the evening of the party, the chef and his team turned up and the only involvement we had was to show them where to put their equipment. After this moment everything was done for us, even to the point of cleaning up plates and utensils, not only that but we received a complimentary Victoria sponge cake which we tried to hide until all the guests had gone home!!! It was a great experience, all of our friends and relatives polished the lot off and were extremely impressed by the food.
I would definately, and have since, recommended this team to other people.
